We ordered from Phang Roy Restaurant for the first time, and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised! We'd been wanting to try a new Thai place, and this one definitely satisfied our craving. The pad prik king beef had the perfect amount of spice, and the beef was cooked just right. The yellow curry was rich and flavorful, and we both really enjoyed the pad thai - the chicken was especially good. We got a good amount of food, too, so it was a good value for the money. My only suggestion would be a little extra sauce on the side for both the pad thai and the walnut shrimp, but the flavors were spot on. We'll definitely be checking out more of their menu soon!

humble little mom & pop shop located in a random plaza in azusa :") the food was decent in flavor, but the highlight was the texture for me! the noodles of the pad thai ($12.5) and pad see ew ($12.5) were all so QQ & had the perfect bounce imo. the chicken satay ($9) was juicy & not dry. total was around $40 after tip. really good portion sizes tho! had leftovers to take home after. the staff was super friendly and nice, checking up on us as well. the overall ambiance of the establishment was just alright. feels like it was a little run down & hasnt been updated to be modern in a while, but not bad. its a small restaurant with ample seating. parking is in a shared lot amongst other businesses, be warned the spots might be tight if you have a larger car! i also think the area that this restaurant is located at, is a bit sketch at night lol.. overall, a very average experience, 3.5/5!

This place makes the best orange chicken. Usually anywhere I order orange chicken togo, by the time I get home, it became all mushy. This is the only place that can make the orange chicken flavorful, crunchy, and not mushy by the time it gets home. Thank you for making a simple dish amazing.

This is my third time ordering take out from here, and it never disappoints. Favorites are the chicken pad Thai, orange chicken, and paste ew. Portions are very generous! The restaurant is hard to find off the street, but if you're looking for a good Thai spot in Asia, this is a great stop. The service is always friendly, which is a plus

I recently visited Phang Roy Thai restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and portion sizes. I started with the chicken satay, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, a great introduction to the meal. The highlight, however, was the Phang Roy beef salad. It was fresh, well-seasoned, and had just the right amount of heat--definitely one of the best beef salads I've had in a while. The Phang Roy rice was another standout, offering a generous serving that paired well with the other dishes. Overall, the portions were more than fair for the price, and it felt like great value for the money. I highly recommend giving Phang Roy a try, not only for the delicious food but also to support a local gem. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! This review emphasizes the great quality, portion sizes, and the importance of supporting local businesses. it a small 2 table family restaurant.

Tiny place (no AC). Menu was as expected. We got the Tom Yum soup, green curry and drunken noodles. No lunch specials and $5 for shrimp added to dishes. At first I thought it was just meh with canned green beans in the curry etc but the longer the food sat the better the flavors developed. Spice level (medium) was perfect for us with heat enough to clear you out but not enough to ruin your tastes.

Perfect Thai food that does not disappoint! Was looking for dinner place and found this little gem. We had try many different Thai food places around the area and I found this place to be the most flavorful and with a generous portion. We order the Thai fried rice, spicy basil chicken, drunken noodle and Tom yum soup. The fried rice and drunken noodle was packed with flavor! The basil chicken had a lot of chicken and plenty of basil and onions. The Tom yum soup was sour and a hint of sweet with mushroom and chicken. Overall this is the best Thai place I have try so far around the area and will def reorder in the future.
